| I am a huge fan of 37 Signals - in fact they are what we at Spinnaker Edge want to become when we grow up. So today, I participated in a Live Q&A webcast where people from all over the world asked questions around Promotion, Generating buzz, getting press, promotion without a budget etc. I was equally interested in their Business Model - gotta love a company with over a million customers and 10 employees. I asked Jason and group how they respond to a question that I get asked all the time - How big is your firm? Predictably, their answer was off-beat. Who cares how big your firm is, as long as you have terrific products and a great customer experience. Embrace your smallness. Why does small have to be synonymous with ineffective? Quite the opposite, as a small firm, we can and do go above and beyond large firms. We can afford to turn down crappy projects that suck the life-blood of all who work on them. We can devote all our attention to the projects we have in hand. Small doesn't have to mean small revenues or few customers - but it can mean agile, attentive, caring and above all Effective. Perhaps its time to update the Thesaurus! Stay tuned for a link to the recording of the Q&A | ||
