Sonali Shetty – Principal

To do this, Sonali launched Spinnaker Edge, an industry leading consultancy known for its blend of creativity and strategic understanding of what drives users in today’s online environment. Dedicated to delivering the best results for her clientele, Sonali provides a full-service offering including Strategy, Design and Development integrated into a seamless experience.

Before creating Spinnaker, Sonali was a technology consultant who assisted Fortune 500 companies – such as Radio Shack, Capital One, Circuit City, and KPMG – towards meeting their corporate goals. With a Masters of Science in Bio-Medical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an executive MBA from the College of William and Mary, Sonali quickly earned a reputation for her leadership in both the software and management consulting circles. Prior to starting Spinnaker Edge Consulting, Sonali delivered full life-cycle implementations of ERP products at PeopleSoft, Inc. She was also in their Development Group and led multi-country Development Teams.

During key trade missions to India with Governor Tim Kaine and Governor Mark Warner, Sonali realized the value into tapping an entire world of talent that often lies outside of the typical corporation’s vantage point. It was then that she decided to combine her experience in business development and execution, with a new way of doing business – the Spinnaker Edge way.

Sonali has a B.S. in Bio-Medical Engineering from the University of Bombay and an M.S. in Bio-Medical Engineering from Texas A&M University. She has also earned her M.B.A from the College of William and Mary.
