| A Home for Boys and Girls | The Virginia Home for Boys and Girls is a 163 year old organization that provides meaningful services to children in need. Services include Foster Care, Alternative living (for young men greater than 18), Alternative education and Residential Services. However, VHBG's website did not reflect the impact the organization had on so many lives. VHBG's original site was text heavy brochure-ware.
When Spinnaker began working with VHBG on the site re-design, we agreed to the principal that the individual stories and images explained the mission and values of the organization far more than any amount of text. To that end the site starts out with stories of three very different individuals whose lives too on a new trajectory, thanks to the love and caring they received at VHBG. That theme of "the impact of the organization on individuals" pervades the whole site. Check the site out at http://www.boysandgirlshome.org/
